Fork Union Military Academy seeks a full-time Spanish Teacher to serve students in grades 7-12 and postgraduate level as assigned. This position is responsible for teaching Spanish language, grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and cultural content in a structured, college-preparatory environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Spanish courses in grades 7-12 and postgraduate level as needed.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials.
• Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain strong classroom standards and support student growth.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in faculty meetings, department meetings, and school activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, World Languages, or a related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with adolescent boys in a structured environment.
• Will adhere to the mission of the school.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior classroom teaching experience.
• Virginia teaching license strongly preferred.
• Master's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to contribute to advising, coaching, or student activities preferred.
