Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and reflective Upper Elementary Teacher who is passionate about inquiry-based learning. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, warmth, and professionalism to the classroom and be eager to contribute to a collaborative teaching environment.
What You’ll Do:
Design and implement engaging, transdisciplinary units in alignment with the IB PYP framework
Build a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, reflection, and respectful dialogue
Help students ask great questions, think deeply, and grow as learners and people
Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, student support, and school-wide initiatives
Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and staff
Take part in professional development, faculty meetings, and school traditions ie, holiday celebrations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in elementary education
Excited to learn about the IB PYP approach
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
A nurturing, growth-oriented approach to working with children
