The Siena School in Oakton, Virginia, is seeking an Office Manager and Registrar to become a key member of our team. Available start date is July 1, 2022. This person will fulfill a variety of roles, including supporting reception, office management, business and administrative functions, educational activities, and more.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reception and front office support, including answering door and phone; greeting and registering visitors, and coordinating admissions information;
- Office Management functions, including purchasing, organizing supply room and storage room, mailings to parents, event management, food orders, etc.
- Administrative support for staff and faculty. Maintaining student records and databases, transcripts; office administration; coordinating activities and events; assisting with staff recruitment, hiring, training, assisting coordination between two campus locations, assisting with transportation and field experience planning, assisting with special programs;
- Communication with the Siena community, parents, visitors, and public through email, phone, newsletter;
- Educational Support as needed, including covering student breaks, carpool arrival/dismissal, etc.; managing student health records. Willingness to serve as a Medication Technician, training to manage basic student health and first aid.

- Demonstrated interest in the education sector;
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and interest in working closely with a team;
- Written and verbal communication;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, including managing multiple priorities;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment;
- Strong computer skills;
- Experience with data management and project management; and
- Several years of work experience, preferably in education or related field.
