Spanning 60 beautiful acres in the heart of Virginia, Fuqua School serves approximately 300 students in grades PreK-12 in a familial and close-knit learning environment. Approximately 45 faculty members work together to offer a well-rounded and challenging curriculum designed to inspire students to discover and fulfill their boundless individual potential. Fuqua School is seeking a new Lower School Head with strong leadership skills, a friendly and approachable manner, and a passion for learning and mentoring students and faculty. The Lower School serves approximately 160 students with 30 faculty and staff.
- Experience teaching at the lower school level and/or prior school administrative experience
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Strong base of knowledge about the developmental level of young children
Fuqua School is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian day school enrolling approximately 300 students in pre-kindergarten through grade twelve. Located in Southside Virginia, the school is approximately one hour from both Richmond and Charlottesville.
