RTA - Richmond Hebrew Day School seeks teachers who demonstrate a deep passion for instruction and care for students' personal and academic growth.
RTA seeks qualified applicants for the following positions for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

General Studies Teacher (Elementary and Middle School)
Special Education Teacher
Physical Education Teacher
Music Education Teacher
General responsibilities will include:
Creating and executing well-designed, meaningful lesson plans, mindful of research-based practices of teaching and learning
Fostering a climate of respect for each child as an individual
Identifying and pursuing professional learning opportunities that enhance one’s teaching
Engaging in professional or administrative work as necessary
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Experience teaching elementary and middle school students with proven mastery in effectively delivering academic content
Passion for subject matter within scope of teaching
Ability to inspire students’ love of learning and critical thinking
Experience in and commitment to the ongoing development and maintenance of an inclusive school community
Demonstrated cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
Enthusiasm for professional growth, academic excellence and creative teaching
Commitment to broad participation in school life
Technology fluency a plus
