The Hill School is seeking a full time Middle School English, reading, and writing teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Other possible responsibilities may include serving as a homeroom teacher, editing a literary magazine, coaching athletics, teaching other classes, or leading a club. Specific assignments will depend on the school’s needs and the interests and experience of the successful candidate.

The Hill School is an independent co-educational day school founded in 1926. It is located on a one hundred and forty acre campus overlooking the historic town of Middleburg, Virginia approximately forty miles west of Washington DC.
Hill School emphasizes a strong academic program, universal participation in the co-curriculars (fine and performing arts, athletics, music, and theater), hands-on learning, and place-based education. Serving approximately 250 students in Junior Kindergarten through eighth grade, Hill School has an annual operating budget of about $7M, an Endowment of approximately $17M, about sixty employees, and fifteen houses for faculty and staff.
