Norfolk Collegiate is seeking qualified candidates for a middle school science long-term substitute teaching position for March through May 2025. This position will be responsible for covering three sections of 7th grade life science. Duties include monitoring and evaluating student outcomes; communicating and interacting with students, parents, staff and community; implementing and modifying instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students; maintaining appropriate records and following required procedures and practices; and supporting the school’s mission. Ideal candidates will have some teaching experience in a middle or upper school setting and an interest in working with students from a variety of backgrounds who possess a range of abilities and learning styles.
This position requires collaborative work with other teachers and administrators. Norfolk Collegiate offers a close-knit, supportive environment and a collegial atmosphere.
