The Covenant School is seeking a dedicated and well-read individual to teach literature and writing at the high school level for the 2023-24 school year. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in and commitment to the Christian liberal arts tradition, along with the ability to integrate the study of literature with the study of other disciplines, most especially the art of writing. The candidate should be competent to teach the elements of style and effective argumentation while helping students strengthen their grasp of English grammar and effective vocabulary use. Most importantly, the candidate should be passionate about working with adolescents, able to connect with them, and committed to their formation as individuals on the cusp of adulthood.
