The Langley School, a Preschool-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, anticipates hiring a dynamic middle school teacher to join us for the 2023-2024 academic year. The exact grades and content areas will be known in the coming months.

All Middle School teachers design and deliver instruction that reflects our inquiry-based instructional model, providing targeted and timely feedback on student learning, and adapting instruction based on student progress. Teachers also participate in the life of the school, including, but not limited to being an advisor, teaching an elective, sponsoring a club, chaperoning day and overnight trips, supervision of break and/or lunch, and other duties as assigned by the Head of Middle School.

A minimum of three years prior experience teaching in a middle school setting
