The Benedictine Schools of Richmond seeks a Director of Facilities to manage all physical assets and facilities for the school, monastery, and their associated 50-acre campus.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Take personal ownership of the appearance, cleanliness, order, functionality and security of the campus facilities and grounds. Review the campus, daily, from the perspective of a potential customer.
- Develop personnel and processes that provide an operational, efficient and attractive campus.
- Manage a work order system to prioritize, schedule and track progress of maintenance and janitorial projects and requests. Supervise process for preventive maintenance and repairs for all equipment.
- Manage maintenance and janitorial service contracts with vendors.
- Manage the operations of the campus wastewater treatment facility. Ensure compliance with all DEQ, state and county standards and regulations for wastewater management. Complete all reporting requirements for appropriate agencies.
- Supervise contractors and construction projects, keeping the school’s and monks’ interests a priority. Ensure contractors are providing a safe environment for employees and students. Communicate plans, timelines and progress to the President on a regular basis.
- Supervise the Bus Coordinator and his management of the school’s fleet of motor vehicles.
- Supervise the Kitchen staff and their facilities.
- Prepare and manage the Maintenance and Kitchen budgets within approved expenses.
- Work with the Director of Athletics to develop security and janitorial processes for all athletic facilities.
- Support academics, athletics, admissions and advancement in facilities needs.
