BACKGROUND: Southampton Academy, located in Courtland, Virginia, is a coeducational independent day school enrolling students preschool three through grade 12. The vision of SA is to be the premier independent school in the region, educating the whole student—cognitively, socially, and emotionally—to prepare them for a rapidly changing world and their own personal future.
