St. Anne's-Belfield School seeks a full-time Visual Arts teacher. The job includes teaching beginning through advanced ceramics, painting and/or drawing. The ideal candidate for the role will be one who seeks to stretch and support students with a student-centered approach; who collaborates effectively with the members of the upper school Arts Department, and the upper school faculty as a whole; who creates a positive culture around the arts in the Scott Center for Arts and Sciences; and who seeks the opportunity to contribute to an established and successful arts program.

As an independent school, we value community involvement and expect that the selected candidate will serve as an advisor and also coach or engage in extracurricular programming that is equivalent to one season.

Full-time classroom teaching experience, both online and in-person, strong organizational and classroom management skills, and the ability to joyfully teach upper school children are required. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching high school-aged students in a standards-based learning environment (SBL) and hold a masters degree in fine arts or secondary fine arts education.
