Commonwealth Academy, a grade 3-12 independent school in Alexandria, VA, is currently seeking a Registrar/Database Administrator.
The Registrar/Database Administrator’s primary responsibility is to establish and maintain accurate, up to date student records using the school’s Student Information Database software. Other duties include responding to requests for student information, updating student transcripts, and educating parents, faculty, and students on how to use the system. This position also provides database support and expertise for the admissions and development departments.
Qualified candidates must maintain the confidentiality of information and demonstrate strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Minimum three years as a school Registrar and/or database experience in a related field or equivalent college-level coursework is required.
Minimum two years working in a school environment is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome along with experience managing an online database and/or student information system.
