Position: We are seeking a part-time (7:50 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. daily) assistant teacher for Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year. Assistant teachers support lead teachers in implementing all aspects of the curriculum, including reading/writing workshop, phonics, and mathematics explorations. Assistant teachers teach whole group, small group, and individual students. Candidates should be collaborative, flexible, patient, and nurturing with children. Candidates should possess a strong comfort level with integrating technology in the classroom and a passion for learning and growth. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and to hone pedagogical skills in a supportive environment.
