Trinity is seeking a full-time instructor in the Science Department for the 2018-19 school year.
The ideal candidate communicates to students a deep curiosity about science and inspires exploration into the core disciplines connecting students to real world applications. The instructor will teach chemistry to high school students at the advanced level, and preferably has experience with teaching chemistry in the International Baccalaureate Program. The teacher will develop student skills in scientific inquiry and laboratory practice as well as mastery of content. The teacher will actively use a variety of instructional strategies to engage students’ critical thinking, including the innovative use of technology.
We anticipate growth in our technology department as well, so experience in any STEM area or computer science is preferred. An ability and interest in engaging students in mathematical modeling, design thinking, or coding is a plus.
A BS in the natural sciences is required, with a strong chemistry emphasis preferred. Teaching experience is required.

More than 50% of parents support annual giving, which generates $300,000 for the operating budget each year. Since 2007, nearly $10 million has been raised for capital improvements.
