Trinity is seeking a long-term, full-time substitute physics teacher to teach 9th Grade, beginning in August 2018. The ideal candidate communicates a strong framework for the fundamental principles of nature from which physics concepts can be derived, shares the joy of what it means to be engaged in scientific pursuit and creates connections to everyday life. The teacher will actively use a variety of instructional strategies to engage students’ critical thinking, including the innovative use of technology. Excellent communication skills, a focus on student learning and excitement in partnering with colleagues to incorporate best practices in teaching and learning are vital to this position.
A BS in the natural sciences with strong physics emphasis is required. A MS or MEd or experience teaching physics is preferred.

More than 50% of parents support annual giving, which generates $300,000 for the operating budget each year. Since 2007, nearly $10 million has been raised for capital improvements.
