The Langley School, a PS-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, seeks a French teacher for lower and middle school for a possible opening beginning in August 2017. World language teachers work collaboratively with members of their department as well as teachers in other disciplines to provide a rich and integrated program for our students. With the aid of a robust educational technology programs, Langley’s students learn language through authentic experiences that develop their global competencies and enhance language acquisition.
Bachelor’s degree; experience working with middle school students; native or near-native fluency in French; excellent written and verbal communication skills; willingness to collaborate with colleagues; facility with educational technology; and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment required.
